Here at Mokka Photography we aren't just about the money. As well as running a photo gallery we are working on a series of free guides for budding photographers.
These will introduce you to the basics of using an SLR camera; essential photography techniques and taking photographs creatively.

If you have just acquired an SLR camera, the amount of controls may appear daunting, however it needn't be. This first guide takes you through the four most important controls on your SLR: shutter speed, aperture, iso rating and white balance, as well as explaining the meaning of focal length and raw mode.
